Sure there are hundreds, if not thousands of ultra-cool places in NYC. Anyone who has watched the films, seen 'Sex in the City' or visited the Big Apple can probably name at least 10 'must-see' venues there. For me as a native New Yorker, though, it is some more or less mundane things (on and off the beaten path) that make this city great. My list of places is not about "what's hot, hip, and in"; they are actually the places I go on a daily and weekly basis to feel good, forget the world, or just be. Like many others before me, I have to admit: I really LOVE NY!
